Thank you for uploading this. I was 7 at the time of this game and I swore I remember the Clemson Tiger mascot "laying and watching the game from the top of the scoreboard" (as if they were embarrassed) and later being lowered down like he was being hung by a rope. My elder self thought "how in the hell did they pull that one off" and "why would the clemson mascot agree to that" so I couldn't remember what exactly I saw. Now I see what I saw that my 7 year old self confused--it was a stuffed animal. 2:10:14 and 2:14:30

It was hard to keep my attention during this game, because Top Gun was on Showtime at the same time. I remember running back and forth between this game and the movie in the other room. Great win for the Gamecocks!!

South Carolina had a really good team that year..They played a close game against Miami a week later after this game..Miami ended going undefeated and winning the national title.
