It`s never been about Cades skill set or accuracy, it`s decision making in critical situations.

Here is my HOPE for Matt Luke: The O-Line needs to only be improved "some" to make the line serviceable. He does not need to go from zero to sixty. Getting the O Lone to 30 will look like a miracle. (Hope is not a strategy)
@rogerparks23733 ай бұрын
I think we`ll see improvement on the offensive line. Luke is enthusiastic in what he does and enthusiasm can carry young people into better habits.

Cade doesn't look to me like a person playing with confidence. "Swag" if you prefer. I like a quarterback that plays with arrogance. When you believe you will be successful and demand it you likely will be. A winning QB wouldn't tolerate your dropping the football.

All inbetween the ears, Cade is as talented and seemingly as committed as anyone weve had. Just gotta get clear up top and hell be rollin

P🤮rtal..... Development is key! 🤞 Matt Luke gets some momentum and coherence with the line early

Cade worked with palmer previously and also did elite 11 etc. I hope he has great sessions with Jordan Palmer and gets better at his position

Cades pocket awareness and field vision is abysmal. Just not good.

Auburn fan here. What the hell happened to this team? You guys tore onto the scene, got a couple titles; people started screaming "Dynasty!"....and then you guys exited almost as quickly as you entered. We played y'all a couple years. Y'all won two hard hitting, close games. Of course, in 2016, you'd have thought that Auburn fielded a team of ballerinas the way our offensive players were pirouetting in the backfield at Jordan-Hare Stadium lol. But, no excuses. The better team won in both cases. But honestly.....what happened? I always had a theory that perhaps the administration weren't on board with Dabo Swinney. He's never been in-your-face about his personal life, but if asked, he's open about his Christian, conservative values. I actually love him for it. Id be proud to have him at Auburn. But Ive always had some suspicion that perhaps this has made him fall out of favor with some in the administration that are in control of recruiting and PR budgets. Perhaps there are things that aren't in proper alignment at Clemson. But I'm not in South Carolina, I have no familiarity with the media there, so I don't know. I'm just going off things that I've heard from other loud mouths lol.

I'm getting tired of hearing how great Ga is. People act as if they are not beatable. This is college football and these teams have a history. Clemson can win this game!

Riley wasn`t running things and you could tell it. Dabo`s playbook in a different voice is still stagnant offense.
@jeremiahallen99083 ай бұрын
Yup, G. Riley needs to put his 2 mil a year offense into service . I also feel like Cade to needs to release the ball under 3 seconds and do a better job of finding open receivers by goong through his reads rapodly and just releasing it when they are open and not in double coverage etc. his offensive line was pourous at time last year and hopefully Luke can fix that. Jordan palmer can help fix cade. Dont forget that cade has already worked with palmer recently
@rodneyellis8923 ай бұрын
That's the reason I root for Pearman, at least he he can manage not to allow the offense to be the scapegoat. With our defense, who cares if we put up 40 pts
@ClemsonFootballLive3 ай бұрын
I agree!

We have missed on the last QBs. Hopefully we can keep it going. But at least, can we get a guy that can manage himself and not lose downs as much.
@rodneyellis8923 ай бұрын
I'm not sure what Boyd's role is, but I don't think it is working. I appreciate his contribution to our team but maybe it's time to bring in our own QB guru

I am hoping for Cade playing "better" WHATEVER that means.

Yea he can just look how similar Cade Klubik stats were to Joe Burrow 2018 Season and look at how much that short time with him did for Burrow the following season He went from probably being drafted in the 7th round to the number 1 pick so there’s no reason to believe he won’t

LOL What a comparison, a disturbing comparison but VERY accurate. Love it!! Go Tigers!

Phil Mafah SHOULD have been the Starting and Most Valued Running Back for Clemson last Yr. I’m not intending to disrespect Will Shipley. He’s a great running back. As long as he is offered “Some” space!! Phil Mafah Creates Space when/If he needs to! Given space and He runs as a Freight Train penetrating ANY obstacle in his way!! The Man is A True Running back as if he was reincarnated from the 70s-80s when a Running Back RAN for 3-4-5 yrds and a Cloud of dust!! Mafah, if used sensibly, would help Cade be whom Cade is expected to be by doing what Mafah CAN DO!! And he Will do it with that Large Joyful Smile I saw on his face passing by on the field after All home games last yr. as he was running towards the locker room with NO!!!Athletic staff needing to encourage him to keep moving on from All these fans/childish Old Men wanting autographs!! LOL!! I didn’t need his autograph. I just wanted him to know that I Saw and Witnessed who he Truly is!! A Running Back!! I’ll never forget his Smile as he Joyfully jogged by me, a 48yr young Clemson fan, and vocalizing to him How Awesome he is as a TOUGH Running back!! I felt nothing but a Humble and Willing young man demonstrating ONE of his God Given gifts as a Human being. Run Mafah Run!!!

Will Shipley, I believe of the most overhyped player I have seen at Clemson . Had high hopes when he came in , and he had a good 1st year. Big plays were basically none existenced with him. Phil M much better back.

Last year It was hard to ascertain what the most significant issue actually was, lack of QB development or mundane play calling. I wouldn’t indict a first year OC either however while we ruminate and cogitate over the issue; Clemson is gradually becoming known as a school where quarterbacks are stamped with an expiration date..

Make sure you tune into Pastor Brian at the Clemson Southern Baptist Church for his 4 part sermon on Coaching Malfeasance. It will be a good one!

Having followed Clemson Football since I was 10 years old and Attending Clemson in the time of Bennie Cunningham, Steve Fuller Dwight Clark & Jerry Butler Archie Reese,Stan Rome etc. Playing ball 3:39 against Jerry Butler and Steve Fuller throughout high school You really don't know very much about the game levels of talent & Tigers Football

Thats good to hear , maybe he will get out of some of those tendencies, he helped Trevor of course he didn't need that much help😊
@miggity66663 ай бұрын
does he need to be fixed? I think he resorted to hero ball b/c it was often the only option he had An improved O-line, more guile/ complexity in offense, and Dabo trusting Garret Riley = a better Cade Klubnik.
@justmando94883 ай бұрын
His piss poor field vision and pocket awareness certainly does need to be fixed.

We need Tyler from Spartanburg on the show 😂

I don’t think Cade is broken. I see a lot of talent but just lacked experience. Streeter just wasn’t the best coach.
@blakeellis74173 ай бұрын
Matt Luke gotta deprogram and then reprogram.
@marcusparson98133 ай бұрын
Question should be... why is Clemson getting QBS that need fixing and not the generational talents that allowed Dabo a voice 🤔

How much time does he have? Does he have a sports psychologist with him OR a Witch Doctor?

i really just want CJ Spiller fired and Kyle Richardson . and if Garret Riley doesn't start getting aggressive this year, him out too

We don`t need to fix the players as much as the system.
@jeremiahallen99083 ай бұрын
For real. Need more raid in the dirt raid. Running is ok. Should improve with O-line improvement. Need more long balls. Plus 20 yd receptions and YAC yardage. Hopefully cade and the WR corps are able to stay healthy and take several leaps forward.
