Clemson's defense was elite in this game. Venables pulled out the kitchen sink; I don't think their offense ever stood a chance. Offense was very sloppy. Hard to complain with 600 yards and 41 points though.

This 'team' of coaches is a horrifying mix for whatever reason? I am sure they have a nice resume, but are collectively inept and it stems from the top. They have been rebuilding since the 1980's. There is a coach at Alabama who was dreadful in Miami. A coach in New England who should only visit Cleveland in disguise. This Orange coach needs to relocate, The sooner the better and far from Cuse.

I don't hate him. It's not working. The talent deserves better. Those who hired him are not blameless. On paper, this group should be competing not getting steamrolled. 10 wins in ACC should be expected with the talent. Good recruiting skills especially considering the city of Syracuse is nothing to write home about. His selection of coaching staff is suspect? The fans deserve a quality product. Maryland game was straw that broke my back. Atrocious. Second half adjustments abominable. If the terps win it all i shall rethink my opinion. Tobacco row opponents will be the true test. This team should run through their conference opponents undefeated. We will see.

@Gamecock Nation outside of #11 and #8 the Clemson defense is slow as shit. It gets covered up by elite coaching from their defensive coordinator Venables. The moment someone can expose those blitzes and make Clemson matchup man for man it's going to be a rough day lol. Trevor is probably the most overhyped player in college football history. He has unrealistic expectations to live up to and you can see he's trying to live up to them by the amount of big plays he tries to make, similar to tua a year ago.

Clemson beat Bama 2x, A&M 2x, Auburn 1x in last 4 years. SEC is more cupcake than ACC. Both conferences went 6-5 in bowl games but SEC was expectd to do 9-3, ACC 3-6. Who's a cupcake... SEC

Cuse offense is good, but when you don't know where the blitz is coming from you can't adjust to that and by the time you get something going it's too late.
