Those donkey calf raises are brilliant! Way more comfortable and effective than other ways. Definitely adding those to my workouts

The plate is a game changer. My favorite exercise is the banded goblet squat with a dumbbell.

Great video. I did goblet squats today using the clench footplate, band, and handle. I got a great workout. I also added the riser legs to the plate and it makes it easier to get the bands through the holes and under the plate.

The calf raise tip is fantastic. Had been loading the band on my shoulder for single leg calf raises, but usually leaves me bruised for a week

I have a question, how much of a load does the bands looped on the shoulder loads impact the spine?

You should be ok! Just keep an eye on your bands and make sure they don't start showing signs of premature degradation.

Will the plate work with the heavy duty black band or will it bend from the tension? The guy in this video is definitely over 6’ feet tall I’m only 5’5” and with a 41”inch band I probably won’t have any tension in the bottom of the squat which would suck. I was thinking of standing on a pair of 50 lb. bumper plates and looping the black band underneath to make it shorter. What’s your thought on this?

Absolutely! The plate is rated for a 1000 lb working load. The plate is very heavy duty, and you should not be able to bend it.

@@ClenchFitness Ok I’ll try the bumper plate option to see if I get a good full range of motion. I use the bands in a public gym and I don’t wanna be carrying the plastic plate in the gym people will look at me like I’m crazy. 😊

how many “lbs” of resistance would the x band squats be equivalent to if you use two green bands or two blue bands? i cant do any with the orange bands lol

2 green bands is about 130-150 at the top. 2 blue bands is about 190-220 at the top.

for only 300 dollars you get your super expensive board.... Darn.. that is way too much money... I rather make it from several plywood stacked to each other...
