Ive actually come to come to terms with the many inconsistencies in tvdverse, im like whatever alright but I cannot overlook the writers making inspiration her unique power cause it makes no sense, inspiring people isnt a magical power, its a natural choice of free will all humans possess so that bothered me, I wish she was just kept as teased like this dark jinn whose wishes went bad, that or a harpy from greek lore which her fake audition script had her as.

She doesn't inspire people like normal people do, and muses do what she does. Empathy isn't a superpower either and yet characters who have empathy as one of their powers literally feel and know what other people feel and can change it on a certain level, sometimes empathy allows them to possess people and so on. It's not the same empathy we usually talk about, just like Cleo doesn't inspire people in the way we usually think of.

Well all it seemed to show her doing is coming up with ideas as if the other characters couldnt do so, they should have just stuck with her being able to create beings from clay and she was sought after for that, thats just my opinion. The writers at least redeemed her later by giving her an actual magic power being able to see into the future and into the minds of gods. Inspiration is just equal to free will all of us possess naturally and the way they portrayed it was like a magical power and made the other characters too stupid to figure our the simplest things so they had to go to cleo. Also it was just them copying and pasting from I think greek lore cause I guess there is an artist called cleo who was called the muse, she might have even had the ability to make clay sculptures come to life which that part I dont mind of cleo and I think is actually a cool power, its the whole inspiration thing I cant stand.

@@malivore7264 Her power isn’t to be inspired, it’s the magical ability to inspire others with ideas they wish to have. It’s not that people can’t be inspired by themselves at all, it’s just that she causes inspiration for things they want to achieve to come about immediately. It’s an interesting power and not everything has to be outrightly physical magic (like fireballs etc). Cleo is first and foremost a witch and inspiration is a special ability tied to her Witchcraft, and like we’ve learned the power of inspiration is the base level of a Muse. Their powers will eventually progress like we saw with Cleo looking into the future and having a special connection to the mind of Gods. Muses are also common enough for Aurora to know of them, so Cleo isn’t the only one. In addition to this, Cleo is a very powerful witch without her special muses powers. Had we had Season 5, all these powers would’ve certainly been built upon.

Legacies....was....garbage. it had poorly executed good ideas but the idea to introduce new more fairly tale supernaturals and they way they did it was full on garbage. The corny acting is fine cuz everyone needs exposure but the series itself was so still i couldn't bare it anymore lolz

⁠@@dvreauxSeason 4 of Legacies was pretty good though, I wish we had got season 5. And tbh TVDU stopped being properly dark after the first couple of seasons. I think the main issue was the special effects, they tried to make magic visible but didn’t have the budget to make it look good.
