Didn’t go out of the lines, you can touch but not go out. If you go out you get a red flag and they take 0.1 point , commentators said no flag. Just deduction for extra steps on last pass.

I've been watching videos with her for a long time now (and with her teammates or whoever they are from UCLA) and I'm wondering why these girls are not competing in the Olympics? This is another kind of gymnastics? Or what's happening? 😂 This might be a stupid question, but I'm not a gymnast nor american, so I don't really know what's happening. 😅

Eszter Polanek i'm not American too but I think I can answer the question. For Danusia it's not the same as other gymnasts because she's not American. in year 2012 she was 1st alternate for the GB Olympic team and in 2016 Toni Ann Williams was the Jamaican gymnast chosen for the Olympics. for the American gymnasts it's different. if they are going pro (like Laurie Hernandez or Simone biles) they are losing their NCAA eligibility and cannot compete NCAA. on the contrary, girls competing in NCAA lose their eligibility to national team. if they want to be in the national team they need to interrupt their studies, compete in elite and then come back to NCAA (Brenna dowell did this) and most of the girls comes from level 10 and never wanted to do elite

UCLA is college gymnastics so it's different kind of gymnastics because olympics are for elite gymnastics

It’s not that their too old, but American gymnastics is a lot different than other countries... sometimes their not quite good enough. In other situations some of them have been to international competitions, or even to the olympics. Now they have Madison Kocian, and Kyla Ross. Both former olympians.
