Hello Aleshia, I don't have any fishing line so I tried with 8lb fireline with beads similar to what you used. And... It works! All I had to do was to reinforce the earrings with several passes of thread. But that's not a problem seeing as we already pass twice through each bead just weaving the pattern. I passed again twice I think through each beads for a total of 4 passes of thread. My earrings are stiff and the shape is good. I'll post a picture on your Facebook page because I don't think I can do it here... Thank you for another great tutorial 😘

Thanks, Aleshia, for sharing this really pretty and fun to stitch design. We're thankful that you dug it out of your UFO box and figured it out!!

I love beaded earrings like this because you have the statement of color and sparkle, they are large enough to be seen with longer hair and, biggest bonus is that they are so light. This design is so unique and fun, it’s vintage In feel but looks like set gemstones when you use the rice beads. I’m in love for sure!

I LOVE this design! Amazing how the string holds the shape due to weaving. At first it looked like wire would be used for the. Outside shape. Thank you for all your great ideas. I am going to make pairs as Christmas gifts.😀

If you put 2mm rondells at the bottom to match the smaller bicones at the top it would add a nice element to the design.

Aleica could you please let me know what colours you used for the first pair of earrings to the left. I can’t enlarge the picture so it’s hard for me to see what colours of each bead you chose. That would be very helpful so that I can buy the right colours to get that same look. Thank you! I hope to hear from you soon! ~ Lisa

I have beads I've been waiting to use. Do you have any recommendations for ordering seed bead basics 11/0 15/0 8/0 and delicas. Needed for all that will last thru the years.

You really only have to mark one end of the monofilament, you will still have two sides a marked one and an unmarked one.

Omgoshhhh , I loved this pattern right off but never did the 2 strand -hand method. every time I would see a new pattern of yours I would silently say -- please be one needle lol I learned everything from you and love all your work. You're so kind, and not too fast in doing your tutorials which I need lol I had zero of everythng I needed for this pattern but substituted ..like you say . Make what you have work and I only had enough for one so at end I changed to needle to fill in the gap below center bead -- then reinforced while I had extra thread and I am pleased with it :) I tried not to butcher your pattern but I so wanted to give this method a shot but was scared cause all I know is needle - and am so glad I did. Gonna go through and make everything now like this that you have hahaaha...Thank you so much

I have watched your tutorials for the last several years and love your designs. You are very talented and your teaching method was superb. However as of late, it has been very difficult following you as you work, as your long finger nails (though beautiful) are very distracting and get in the way of your project making. It also appears that as you work you struggle to maintain control of your beading wire/threads and beads. This is not a criticism.... just an observation on my part. Please take a moment to review your latest videos, maybe you will be able to see what I have suggested. Alicia thank you again for your beautiful designs and hard work.

You put it out so nicely. This was so uncomfortable to watch her fidget with such long nails when I know she can have them done beautifully small/er too
