Everyone seems to have missed the real story, which was blatantly obvious. The entire Pacers team played incredibly well. They moved well, attacking on offense, finishing and making shots. They looked fantastic. This is a team that has "jelled," after improving their play and team chemistry over the course of the season. They learned from losses, and kept getting better. They had all the energy and focus. This brilliant game really proved something about this team. Will it carry over into Game 7, in Cleveland? Who knows how Cleveland will respond to this humiliating loss. Lebron might carry them, the Cavs defense may be better, and two fantastic games in a row by the Pacers is a rarity, so it's a toss-up. But they looked SO good in this game, I don't see how anyone can say they are a "pedestrian" team or a run-of-the-mill team, after that. If they win Game 7, they could go much farther into the playoffs than anyone believed before this.

LeBron is a valuable player for any team. I like that he is mature and just plays the game, and is better than all the other players. Low IQers give him hate but that's about all. He has already said that he "Doesn't care about the cavs, he's just focusing on what to do on the next game and winning." I think it's a good comment because he's saying he does not care what his bad cavs management or owner has to say or do about trading him, or managing the team, he's just focusing on winning and doing his own job. If the Cavs turn out to not want him or they do some bad moves after this year, there are many teams that would take a LeBron James when he's still putting up those averages. On the Cavs, they had to butcher the team mid-season. What's left of his teammates don't always show up, they're mediocre tbh, all of them scored about 7 pts max if they scored anything.. a few new young players can help score 'sometimes'. LeBron on a team like the Heat right now would be making the finals with those energetic defenders and other players. But it's admirable he is putting up those numbers and also working with what is given to him.. I don't think he should have to score over 30pts just to win the game, and do so when your team is underperforming so much which makes it harder to score or do anything else. Even with how terrible his team was last night, missing wide open shots as usual, etc.. he still put up good numbers. Players like Corver aren't playing like they played when on the Hawks. Kevin Love isn't showing up like he was in the past, it's pathetic.. they're always riding LeBron's play to the top and aren't playing with intensity. The fact he's dealt with this problem and isn't completely refusing to play or cooperate with his team shows how good and experienced that he really is.
