CleGuardsPro posted a clip of Jamison Churio in a “homerun derby” today. His swing looks like it’s gone through some slight adjustments. Excited to watch him move his way up over the next couple years.

And swing and miss for days. Nearly as bad at laying off low/away sliders as Amed Rosario

Everyone strikes out now. If Noel can hit .240 with 35-40 hr, that beats anything else they have currently. And he has a decent glove too.

I honestly see Noel as the next Oscar Gonzalez for many the same reasons, and dear lord I hope I'm dead wrong.

Dude Bazzanas don't grow on trees, that bananas, they are hand crafted in Australia and take many years to ripen.

@@darylfoster7944 Yeah I keep hearing people talk about him being a September callup, I think if he's hitting .300 in AA with decent power that's a win.

Yeah. They need to keep them and bring them up when they’re ready and not trade them off like they have done in the past!

Not their strength to trade away young guys. They excel at it.

The elite prospects just so happen to be at the positions that are most critically in need at the big league level (RF-DeLauter, CF- Chourio, 2B- Bazzana). It’s almost like one of the best FOs in the game planned it that way!

@@bobwhite2guardians never trade away young guys. They trade players after their arb seasons have run out (or almost have).

Odd swing? That is the ugliest swing in the history of professional ball. How does he generate power?
@davidwindell4 күн бұрын
It actually keeps his body square to the ball a lot longer, meaning his vision is vastly increased. I think the ugly swing is why there is so little swing and miss in Delauter. He generates power because he’s strong as a damn ox and is overcoming the poor mechanics. If you are able to cut down your whiff rate by sapping your power, but you can still go 425’ to all fields, you’re good in my book. I can get past the poor optics. That’s what CLE hitting coaches have also chose. To do as DeLauter hasn’t been asked to make any swing changes since being drafted.
