Cleveland Squad 3 ride

Riding with Cleveland Rescue 3 on a busy Saturday in 2008 we caught a fire in a vacant house.

Water problem? Looked like aerial truck didn't get going til the house already burned to the ground. Good job saving the other structure in such high winds.

I've watched several videos from Cleveland, they don't get water on the fire too quickly, I saw one video they had to hand lines and a deck gun on protecting the B side exposure with no water going to the fire as it grew and grew. They should have used the hand line for protection and knock the volume of fire down with the deck gun ..But what do I know..

It was a fully involved vacant house. They were defensive. It wasn't about saving the property. They were also dealing with 30+mph winds which accelerated the fire.
