I have filed several complaints about the nearly-illegible instructions included by Abbott in the test kits. An abomination, and people should complain to Abbott, to ADA departments, to their State, to the U.S. CDC, etc. - I do wonder, however, with this and other instructions, if 1 to 3/4 inches in the nostrils, is sufficient, as this is not close to the nares at the upper end of the nostrils.

And, the test is to be retaken within 3 days - if negative results - no one says anything about positive results - not even Abbott addresses this.

I’ve used these tests so many times and every time I use them the colors bleed and the test is invalid. However I wasn’t putting the liquid in slowly or 30 seconds before I twirled the swab around in it- so I’m going to do that and see if it works

Just feel week still and was wondering if your symptoms are the same. I had no booster but the wife did and she also caught covid about 2 days after me. She seems to be doing better than I but I will wait on any booster shots later in the year, maybe. We did have both Pfizer shots Jan-Feb 2021. I tested for anti-bodies in September and had none so I said why take the shot if it only protects for about 3 months. I still believe if people want the covid vaccine go for it. But if you don't the Government shouldn't mandate you take it. God Bless!

My Covid symptoms are in the first 48 hours I had severe body chills and a sore throat as well as knee pain on the left leg. Then just after the 48 hours I woke up with the utmost terrible taste in my mouth and now I lost 80% of my smell as well as taste but the weird thing is that I smell a constant charcoal/diesal type smell when outside. Im only on day 3 since my symptoms started but I did test positive on day 3 which was today.

Wed, December 18, 2024! - used this repeat test to confirm I am now negative, 36 hours after the first negative test on 12.17.2024. Ugh! This has not been fun. Though I am now negative for COVID, that freaking virus set off my asthma again, & I expect to continue to struggle with what it's done to my breathing for weeks. First day testing positive this time was 12.13.2024 (looking back, my first symptoms probably started ~12.10.2024) It's been 23 months since I got COVID the first time... It was bad this time, but was way WAY WORSE when I had it in January 2023, though I believe I only had Omicron at that time. I was trying so hard to get it right so i watched the video so closely & when it said to keep it laid flat, it was upright. Then, it said to put the drops in. I ended up putting the liquid onto the little window for the control / sample line. I had to watch it over again to realize where I went wrong. Just commenting so others know not to make this mistake.

People, read the instructions yourself and read them twice. Every video I've watched has been missing points made in the instructions that say "must be done" that result in invalid results. Instructions clearly state you must rotate the swap three full rotations after inserting it into the test. I noticed yours did not start absorbing liquid immediately and rewound it and noticed you did not rotate these swab after inserting it completely into the test as specified in the instructions. They clearly say this must be done for valid results. I have the instructions right in front of me and it was easy to miss these points so was wondering if others did as well. Any yes, they did and so far every one.

I think you may have made a mistake in this video. Earlier in the video you state that if you have a blue control line plus a pink line for the sample, this indicates a positive covid19 test, but later in the video you state these results indicate an invalid result.

That got me for a minute too. Had to go back and re watch. It's correct. There has to be the blue line to start. But once you've taken the test the blue line should turn pink. If it stays blue even if you have a pink sample line.. The test is messed up. At the end you should have either 1 pink line (negative) or 2 pink lines (positive)

Abbott needs to clearly label the contents of the test kit. The reagent, the packages containing the cards. The reagent is, if handled improperly, has toxic potential. It is also not clear how to safely open the vials. It would be helpful if, in the video, these components were labelled.

**If you bought this test please read** One thing the instructions dont clarify is the amount of lines. They make it appear as if you need 2 pink lines or 1 pink line. This is incorrect. That blue line thats there from the start is one of the lines its including. So if you see just the blue line, youre probably clear.
