I’m now 55 years old, but I was curious to watch the series because I heard about it during class. I’m a special education teacher, and the regular education math teacher mentioned it. I got curious, so I started watching, and I was hooked right from the start. It was sad, of course, but unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It had awesome acting from everyone, and it was very creatively filmed. Who produced that? Well done, whoever you are. I also liked the songs in season 1. Every season was different with something unique to keep me engrossed. So, to all you actors, I like your work.

i cannot wait for season 3 to dig deeper into monty. you see he always stands up for bryce and his other friends so you know that he cares for something, though it may not be much. you also find out he is abused and frankly bryce and his team/sports are the only things he has going for him, and since tyler took that away from him he clearly was going to lash out. of course his way of dealing with anger is not effective or acceptable by any means but you know that since he's grown up being abused he will think abusing others is the right thing to do.

now that we're getting a third season, I really want them to dive deeper into his character (and maybe his sexuality since I feel there is something more going on with him and Bryce/Alex). we don't need the show to be more about Clay, there are tons of other characters, where I would like to know what makes them tick - that was never the case with Clay (to me at least) because he was pretty transparent from the getgo.

SEASON 3 SPOILERS and this is just my opinion! well now in season 3 we found out some things about him. now we know why he acts the way he does, what he did was awful and unacceptable. but it’s his dads fault, or that’s what i think. his dad is abusive and homophobic. and the fact that he was more ashamed of monty for being gay rather than what he did to tyler speaks for itself. i really hope in season 4 we get to know more about monty. his background home life and his relationship with winston. i hope he is alive, or maybe we can get throwbacks. maybe winston will see him (like clay sees hannah and bryce after their death) anyways i need to see more of him. showing us a little bit more and then just cutting him off, that was cruel. i love montgomery de la cruz!

Both Timothy and Justin are really sweet and genuine people, and they’re so separate from their characters in 13 Reasons. Such amazing actors and such great young talent. It’s easy to hate Montgomery and Bryce, but so so easy to absolutely fall in love with Timothy and Justin. Impressed and proud them both.
