I still can't get over the fact that in French 111 our professor was trying to get us to understand how tense and phrasing worked with Voulez Vous and therefore he played Lady Marmalade. And then made us translate the bit that's in French. We all left class in a state of confused hilarity (he let us leave after we got the translation correct which TBH wasn't too hard since we'd been working on the unit for about 4 class-sessions and 90% had heard the song and seen the video before.)
