Man almost 20 years later and his father passing is the most heartbreaking scene and can’t get over it, still make a grown man shed tears

What’s crazy is that Adam Sandler’s powerful acting in the third act stems from the fact his father actually passed away during the production of this film
@chrisaguilar1410 Жыл бұрын
He died a couple years before the movie started production

Nah he died before then but that’s obviously where the inspiration came from so doesn’t really change your comment.

LOL, I JUST realized the read head kid was an O'Doyle lol. They're the bully family that keeps appearing in Billy Madison that drive off the cliff in a car lol. So either Sandler had an O'Doyle he didn't like in real life or you could make a theory that all of Sandler's films exist in some continuous universe lol.

Loved this movie! Excellent story with an incredible mix of comedy and drama in one. Anyone who says Adam Sandler can’t do serious acting absolutely needs to watch this. He totally owns this movie.

Damn, 2006... I was a kid. As goofy as this film was, holy $hit still makes me teat up in it's final act. Paint by the numbers "Because what you wish for"/King Midas cosmic tale (btw it's a LITERAL "Universal" remote), but done for well that it earns it's goofiness.
@jonathancruz5932 Жыл бұрын
This movie is almost based on "It's a Wonderful Life" when George wish he was not born and he sees that he didn't exist to be with his family. Like Michael, he did not catch up with his family, divorced, disease and he did not make forgiveness for his mistakes.

In 1997, there was a television show called Goosebumps. One episode is called "Click", same story: A magical remote control that controls the world, only it doesn't have a happy ending. It seems that, the movie is inspired by that whole episode, you should watch the tv show, or at least, The haunting hours: the serie.

I remember watching this movie without bringing water in the cinema thinking that it's all comedy and just good vibes I'd experience. But, I was caught off guard. I was struggling getting through that part where he had regrets. My dad died of heart attack abroad. I've grown watching my dad only spent 45 days as his vacation with us and be back abroad for 18 months there. That was for 15 long years. I missed my dad. If internet was available that time I know we all wouldn't struggle that hard that we had to wait for 1 month for our mails to reach him and another month to get his letters back.

(31:35) Every time I watch this scene I get legit goosebumps, something about this scene feels so ominous, the rain pouring down🌧 the cinematic and powerful strings and pianos 🎹🎵 The blue lighting, Also Adam Sandler’s acting in this scene is PHENOMENAL! The way he’s shaking and trying to stay alive and how he’s whispering cause he can’t really speak. It gets me every time, also the fact that this is an Adam Sandler movie is Mind Blowing! I did not expect something like this! 👌

Crazy idea of a movie was not expecting it to be that heartfelt especially at the end because Adam Sandler's real father actually passed away during the production of this movie so it made it more passionate rip out of Sandler's father number two on my list of favorite Adam Sandler movies that are half comedy half drama half romance half of everything else in genres of movies❤

This movie was so emotional. Adam Sandler did a great job in this film playing generic funnyman #675. When the sad part came on I cried so much, I couldn't breath. My heart failed and i was sent into cardiac arrest. But, the shear emotion i felt from this movie enlighted my soul and jump started my heart. I was alive! In terms of gameplay this is a solid 10/10 but where it shines the most is the story. This movie is an absolute masterpiece that i would recommend for everyone to watch.😢

The marketing of this movie was super mean. It was advertised as a regular Adam Sandler comedy, along the same lines as Happy Gilmore and Anger Management, which the movie follows for the first act, and then completely shifts into a super dark morality tale about not letting life pass you by, focusing on what matters most, and the horrible reality of dying with the knowledge that you wasted your one shot. A buncha people went to see this in theaters expecting it to be a goofy comedy instead of a hard-hitting comedy-drama (Dont get me wrong, the movie is great, but it's a real kick in the balls if you dont realize what direction it's gonna go)

As a comedy it works quite well. although "Click" is not a great movie at all. Although, for an actor like Adam Sandler, who doesn't have any great movies in his filmography, it's not bad. Even so, I think this movie is much inferior to "50 First dates" (probably his best movie), and even to "Little Nicky", which as a comedy is much funnier. @The Homies I would recommend that if you react to another Sandler film again, you choose "50 first dates." I think you will like it much more.

@PatkaBoy831 Жыл бұрын
Patreon is for full movie reactions. OF is carefully done nudity, near nudity, rear nudity for girls like Viki, Michelle, Ellie, Blue. Magy and Lia tease mostly.. some of the content is BDSM tease, some lesbian kissing (usually Michelle and Ellie, but Viki and the other two have done a three way kiss video). Viki is probably the most daring as far as nudity posts are concerned. You see everything pretty much (especially in her shower and birthday videos), albeit it is carefully shot despite being close to her. Also, it's expensive. Bobby is a lucky man to be shooting these girls lol.
