There's an interesting theory at play here. Maybe, just maybe, that subscriber count is not real. There is a surprising amount of people on this platform that are using services and systems that allow subscriber counts to be manipulated. One example was an ad that said they would give V Bucks if downloaded their app and then subscribe to additional apps or KZbin channels. Imagine the amount of people, specifically kids, that hear "Free V Bucks" and all they have to do is subscribe to a channel or two. These bot systems have inflated subscriber counts to unnatural levels. Meanwhile I've found 7 year old channels with quality content that can't pass 200K. Just a theory though.

That kinda does make sense; viewbotting’s pretty scummy. I mean, it’s not possible that Elisocray’s been viewbotting, but imagine if he kinda did. Ik other channels like Webs & Tiaras did something similar to this a few years back, where they’ve made $400,000~ a month but get very little comments on their videos. And if they DID get comments, it’s all a bunch of random letters, numbers, sentences & languages from other countries (“ford tree tree tchyuhyhu(?) hi hu oh no Ohio,” for example; I recommend watching Kavos’ video about that). Still another is IREACT (or at least, that’s what the channel was named before they changed it) where it gets views but only gets very little comments. Elisocray may not viewbot, although it’s possible he does this kinda, but it’s very clear that his content is still unrecognizable trash.

As much as I agree that YT clickbait content creators are morons, there is no denying they are smart in an evil way. Say what you want about them but people like LispyJimmy and Elisocray still get views on videos that most KZbinrs can only dream of. If I am getting 55k views on a video that is still an entire football stadium worth of views that yields me a decent payday. I just wish YT would have stricter enforcement on clickbait.
