Client Emergency Fund: Levi's Story

In jail, the pain in Levi Sawadogo's left leg worsened until he couldn't walk anymore. The jail didn't provide him with a wheelchair or any support upon release.
Our Client Emergency Fund was created for clients like Levi who need assistance beyond legal defense. With the help of generous donors, we were able to get a wheelchair for him and successfully help reenter him back into the community.
