You got that wrong. Elvis has for decades been referred to as "the King of Rock and Roll". Cliff Richard has not ever been referred to in that way, because only Elvis was King. Not this British pretender.

Cliff Richard is always nice to listen to. He's got a vest on top of his shirt....a trend setter! The B side of Living Doll he speaks of is Apron Strings, which was covered in by Johnny Hallyday in France in '63 as Tout Bas, Tout Bas, Tout Bas, Tout Bas.

As an American I simply adore Cliff! At first when I was introduced to his music I was mesmerized! Let me tell you what really makes me love him….his beautiful faith in God is what I treasure! He isn’t a goody two shoes, but I see a fun loving man, who loves his friends, and fans, but never forgets his foundation with serving God too! This combination of a true gentleman isn’t an act, but Cliff doesn’t have to act to be anything. Cliff is a true authentic gentleman. You don’t ever see anything but a true gentleman, and someone who treats fans with respect! I only truly discovered him a few years ago, but realized he is exactly the person he portrays! Thank you England for allowing Americans to love him too! You have a treasure! ❤️. I simply love my English friends too! You are such a sweet people I consider friends! 🇺🇸

I have been Cliff's longtime fan since 60's with The Young Ones ,Summer Holiday... when I was still a teenager in my beloved country Việt Nam. Lost contacts of his activities since 1975 in the periods of being so busy trying to relocate and rebuild the new life in the USA....until recently, so glad to be able to get back to enjoy so much all of Cliff's older shows ,interviews ,albums..😍! Wish he will come back to Western USA( Hollywood, Las Vegas ,Los Angeles..) to do shows .🙏 Promise myself will not miss it for my life. .

Thank you so much for your lovely comment about Cliff. You just mentioned all the things that I also love about Cliff. Living in the Netherlands makes is easy for me to travel to the UK to see him in concert which I have done since 2008. Before that I just waited until he came over for a tour.

Love Cliff in everything he does, because he's sincere& has a heart so loving & forgiving that's why he lasted this long. Total respect for him esp. that act of him forgiving his accusers not every one can do that, that I value very much, remembering that Jesus also did that.

Nice guy, good entertainer, but what puzzles me is why he still refuses to come out as gay!! There is nothing wrong with 'coming out!' He is obviously still living in the 1950s! Society has come on since then, so why doesn't his PR agents realise this??

That's because Cliff is not gay and has never been reported that he is. Only the BS British tabloid press and uncouth teenage boys have spouted that nonsense. Cliff's first and only ultimate adult experience was with Carol Ann Costa, the wife of Shadows bass player, Jet Harris. In various subsequent interviews with Jet he's mentioned that Carol married Jet to enable her to get regularly close to Cliff. Also mentioned several times but elsewhere, is that Cliff has a condition where he suffers from erectile disfunction. More crudely put is that he is all brilliantine and no sox. I feel bad for him because I genuinely like and respect the guy - but only up to the point where I don't really know Cliff past what he presents on film and Television. In any event I see Cliff as one of the Worlds good guys and so I'll leave it all at that.
