This was my very first record that I got as a Christmas present off my parents in 1965 along with my very first record player made by Dansette and blue in colour which made me change my favourite colour from red to blue. Thank you very much mum and dad, may you both R.I.P.

Cliff has recorded some really great songs. When I used to listen to one of his great hits, The Young Ones, I used to imagine the calm summer waves coming towards the shore, it used to be so relaxing.

Bought my first portable Zip record player with my very first pay in 1959. One of the first singles I bought was Wind me up let me go. Played and played it learning every word. Still sing it to myself often even now. A great still living memory of mine.💞💞

Was, is and will be one of the very best male vocals and band of all time. Real talent makes a star and like a star they endure for all time. A gentleman and master of entertainment. You don't have to be a bad boy to be a star, just talented.

I'm just a little tin soldier in your hand I'm good for nothing, but to obey your commands You never really love me, I know So wind me up, let me go I'm just your plaything 'til you see someone else A nd then you'll leave me alone on the shelf But even tin soldiers have hearts, don't you know So wind me up, let me go You don't really need me, you've a hundred other toys And teardrops don't look good in the eyes of soldier boys So pick me up and hold me one more time That's just consolation for this heart of mine Whisper a sweet word to the one, who loves you so Then wind me up, let me go Then wind me up, let me go Let me go
