Don't need a record label anymore. Can you imagine what they would have done with hi Ren. They would have edited the f out it. Cut it down to 3 minutes. They probably would never even put it out. He needs to have total artistic control over his music. No label would give him that. Even Chinchilla is now independent after what she said was a horrible year being signed. Record labels want to much control over everything you do. Which is a nightmare for a creative person like these two. Having someone to manage things for you who's on board with what you do is good. It's hard to try and manage your affairs & create music as well. The label might spend a lot of money promoting you. But every penny they lay out. You have to pay back. It's a business & your a product. Stay independent stay free.

Ren has a very small channel where he started recording other artists in his bedroom, years ago. It's called Ren's Room. One of his recording is with Orlean, playing guitar. Orlean is on one of Rens older songs, Jessica. There are other incredible artists too, including Joe Hitchcock. Amazing on the electric guitar playing an old blues / jazz song called 'Summertime'. Last week when I mentioned the channel in another videos comment, it grew from 175 subs to 258. I hope that one day he adds more artists and they also get the recognition they all deserve.

This is one of my favourite tracks since discovering Ren. It's upbeat while still dealing with serious content and has a great message. Never heard Eden Nash before, but she sounds amazing. Ren coming in so powerful, shouldn't surprise me by now but it did. BTW the song you were probably thinking of "love me love me, say that you love me" is Lovefool by The Cardigans (1996).

Ren's Love Music (Pt. 1-3). Do those next! I relate to what you said really deeply. I keep digging deeper into Ren's catalog and I keep getting amazed by the depth and talent and creativity of his music over and over again. And that same thought strikes me, how does art like this fly SO under the radar. Case in point, I just found (and REALLY recommend it as a next for you also) Ren's Love Music trilogy. (Love Music Pt.1, 2, and 3). They are all amazing, but Love Music Pt. 3 had me sitting by myself in my house, grinning ear to ear, vibing along with the beat and openly laughing at the 90's callouts he was dropping all over that track. How those tracks are not radio hits I'll never know. Check them out, it shows the type of musically styling that Humble has, but it's all upbeat in it's mood and message. Basically Ren's love letters to the music and cultural influences he loves. They are fantastic tracks!
