Harry Mack is going down in history as a king of Freestyle, I think. His ability to write such an articulate slice of feelings and to share this page of his life journal. What an awesome piece of writing! I am no expert on this type of music, I am the guy that would say Harry's Improv ability impresses me, but the genre of music, because of Harry Mack is growing on me.

As far as I’m concerned, Harry already has an awesome debut album, Contents Under Pressure. I love every song. It’s just a question of what does he want to do more. These freestyle videos or albums. His audience is there. It is more of an improvisational audience but I’m sure at least a decent amount would love to hear his album. Hopefully he’ll get a feature on a big song and this won’t be any kind of factor

It's about how you truly feel, you got it. So who knows what his attention is. But i know what you're saying about getting past the fear. It's a Reoccurring theme for harry. (f*ck this fear). But i know he follows a lot of meditation and mindfulness skills. So I feel hopefully he'll get past it. I understand from what you're saying is you just want to help him to get past his mental conflict in improving his writing. So I agree with what you are saying at the end. He has the potential to be the best as writing ect. And just the way he naturally is will help this. If that makes sense? this is just coming from my observations and my own opinion.

It doesn't even necessarily have to be a hit record, it just has to be a Harry Mack hit. If he spits and it's great, people will be drawn to it. It's always a bummer when these dudes think no one will listen because they are so good at the thing that made them famous... Share your art and the rest will follow. Harry is way too talented to just be cornered into freestyling.

Because Harry has important ideas he wants to talk about, he needs to write and record them. He can't wait for random fans feeding him random words to get him to the topics that matter to him. It wouldn't be fair to expect him to be Eminem or Kendrick when it comes to writing, but he should definitely try and find out if he can get to that level. He's got fans that'll rock with him forever because he's real.

I honestly think he's very determined to write. I think his confidence is in the right place to take this leap. And I think this track is letting his fans know that he's making the shift. To me, 2024 seemed like it was written, but I had mad people telling me I was wrong for suggesting it. It turns out he has acknowledged it wasn't improvised. Many of his fans didn't want to believe he would ever use his pen... they needed to believe he wouldn't ever write. As if it would ruin the magic. He's giving those fans an explanation of how art, music, and hip-hop work. I do hope you connect with them and if you can help him reach his purpose and expand his ability to people, that would be dope.

Cliff. I had a question I've never had a whole lot of musical influence to help me out. My one question is how did you get started ghost writing? I am a lyricist but I hate performing. I have a terrible fear of being on stage but I love to write and play and have written probably 10000 songs in my life that I've never really put out into the world. I was just wondering how to get started getting people to want my music how to sell my lyrics or whatever.

I was a rapper first. I got signed as a rap artist and was unable to tour due to legal troubles. I was offered a position to write for other artists and here I am 14 years later.

This is one of the best subjects of discussion in hip hop today. The music industry in general is a tainted one, rap is no exception. H. Mack created his own path void of all the label restrictions and vices included with being a modern rapper. Could he save hip hop? Sure, but that shouldn't fall on to a single person. I also feel that if he aspires to write records then he will, it's gotta have meaning tho, I think he is still searching for that.

Dudes been hyper focused for years on rapping other people's topics. Give him time to figure out what he actually wants to rap about, to get out of his own head about it, and to sharpen his pen. By definition he isn’t “corny” in the slightest , and at best your argument is subjective. I could see an argument for being slightly repetitive from one freestyle to the next, but that’s all in the nature of freestyling anyway given the fallback on fillers. If that is how you define “corny” then any freestyle rapper will inevitably be deemed “corny” by your standards. In that circumstance all I can suggest is that freestyle rap either isn’t your thing, or you simply lack the ability to discern the objective nature between artforms.

Nah it's pretty corny. But I think it's more down to how much you choose to close yourself off from enjoying things like that. What's the point in doing that? The freestyles have an innate impressive element but their subject was always corny just the same, you chose to overlook it there.
