"They make the same song" yeah because you're a shitty person and it's the most obvious character flaw. And STALKER went hard, imo. Answered the remix bar by using his own beat. Slipped the culture angle by not responding, scru even gave him the out by showing Knox saying he isn't fronting by being from the culture. Cliff, I don't think Scru is saying he's not a part of the culture because he's white (if he is I disagree with that), it's because there are people who say things like "I don't like rap, but I like Em" etc....these peoples almost always have some sort of underlying world view that is anti black. Or, that he expresses values that don't align with hip hop history or culture. People forget this artform comes from opression. I don't even truly know if Knox is a vulture, but I'm just voicing someone is a volture based on how they treat the community and their world view (ex: Drake is more vulture like than J Cole, but they're both mixed).

You should also react to the nolifeshaq reaction to this. He lowkey exposes some shit, and clarifies a few things.

I saw his reaction. He did clarify some stuff when the clip about him came up but he didn't expose anything. All he said was he claimed to reach out to screw to offer some kind of help but that was never proven
@okaydetar8216 ай бұрын
True, I thought maybe shaq just said some wild stuff or was clipped out of context, but he clarified that he actually still believes what he said and doubled down.

If we're using this logic then scrus might as well have been pre-recorded, As he came with nothing new and nothing at least people that are slightly into it and paying attention didn't already know about or weren't already aware of. He's just recycling info that's already easily accessible or that has already been addressed

In relation to the disses I'm confused as hell, but I have an anecdote... I grew up for the most part around other white people, until I became an adult, and was living in London, UK. I remember leaving a party about 4am with 2 friends who were gonna drop me off at my house and because they knew each other better I went to get into the back of the car, when one asked me to sit in the front and in my drunken, stoned, state asked why, and then immediately felt embarrassed when no-one answered. In my 20s I used h and crack recreationally for a few years, thinking I'd have it under control, but eventually the h bit me, and I had to ask a black friend to get for me because where I lived in London I only knew black dealers, and they wouldn't sell to me at first. When I eventually could get on my own, I remember the guy who helped me found out and was crying. So much shit.

The only thing about the history of hip hop/whatever else, and being an easy search on Google to find the answer. I haven't looked into the history yet, but like many things in history there can be many truths from different sides that lead to an answer. Some history gets lost, until at some point it's rediscovered, or maybe instead it is forgotten. I think as far as music genres go, genres have expanded upon previous genres, so deciding when one genre started and a new one began is tricky. Also because each country/culture may make their own versions of genres that previously existed elsewhere. And as inventions go it's almost impossible even for the 'inventors' to have the very first ideas of what they invent. They instead just make it popular enough with their name attached to the 'invention' to then receive credit for creating that idea. Anyways, I'm pretty new to the rap/hip-hop genre in general, so I'm sure others have more definitive answers regarding its history, or at least what they perceive to be the true history.

@@okaydetar821 I know very little about hip hop/rap, I’ll admit that. It’s important to admit things you don’t know so you can improve as a person. I didn’t need to comment, but I chose to. Glad that you wanted to respond to my comment. 😁
