This is my latest 2021 version of "Reflections of Earth". This is a 4k Multicam edit with a multichannel studio soundtrack and is a HUGE upgrade to my previous three older versions.

I just heard that it is the 25th anniversary tomorrow of when this show first started and the 5th year since the final show! I still really miss this show and glad I can still rewatch it here (and on other videos)! It blows my mind that it is already 5 years since the final show! This was definitely my top favorite especially before Happily Ever After. Thanks again for putting together such a spectacular video of it and keep up the good work! 👍

There is no reason this needed to be discontinued....it was like an attraction. No one got tired of it, it was the perfect ending of an EPCOT day and it's theme, and wrapped up the park in a spectacular display. Nothing has ever compared.

So grateful I got to see this show right before it got replaced on my first visit to Epcot. I'm admittedly not too dazzled by fireworks usually but IllumiNations blew me away. Could watch over and over. Such a powerfully moving score; Greenaway did such a massively great job. Have to agree with another comment I saw-the thing that made IllumiNations so special was that it didn't try going the cheap route of just playing recognizable songs from movies or rides like its successors like some greatest-hits playlist. Was an Epcot original through and through.

Well I’ve seen three of the Epcot shows, this one (RoE), Harmonious, and Luminous: The Symphony of Us. Here’s my obvious ranking: 1. RoE (beautiful, I barely remember seeing it in person, but seeing this video brings it all back.) 2. Luminous (close, but not ROE. Still, this show made me shed a tear, because it reminded me a little of RoE). 3. Harmonious (Good, but only good for the 50th anniversary, since it wasn’t really Epcot-ish). Great video! Wow. Well done. It wasn't until I took the World Showcase guided tour that the true storyline to this show was explained. And it was really fascinating. Act I, Chaos, represented the creation of the planet before life; hence the staccato music, fireworks, and red lighting. Act II, Order, represented the beginning of life, ending with Homo sapiens and the human story; a change in fireworks and lighting colors help bring a sense of habitation. Act III, Meaning, featured the "We Go On" song, meant to inspire the viewer. Our tour guide specifically mentioned the flame. I hadn't realized this prior to the tour, but there are 19 torches around the lagoon, each meant to represent the common era (CE) centuries, each numbered. The globe's torch represents the 20th century. And you, the viewer, were meant to take the inspiration from the show--and specifically the concept of the flame--out into the world to create a 21st century of peace, harmony, and progress. In the end, you were the 21st torch. That tour added so much to the show afterwards. I wish it was made more apparent to the typical viewer what they were seeing and what it meant. I'm a literal person and would never have caught on, but frisson that night watching the show was unique.

Wow, that was spectacularly done and brings back a flood of memories. I had the opportunity to work in the College Program back in 2000/2001 with Epcot as home for me . I took joy in watching the show as well as seeing guests immersed it. This video pays pays wonderful homage to this show and we beautifully done. Saw Luminous last night and while it was beautiful with a wonderful message, and we truly enjoyed it, nothing will match the 'original'. I would come to the park with my family at least once a month to watch this show when I was a kid. Some of my earliest memories are watching RoE on the bridge in France, and truly this was the first show/attraction that sparked my obsession with EPCOT history. I was there on the final night, and yes, I too got quite emotional when "We Go On" played for one last time. I've probably seen it a hundred times. This was the exact show that inspired me to take up lighting design as a career. Thank you for preserving it so well Cliff. Generations to come will enjoy this show thanks to your work.

I was actually blessed with a parent who works for the company. I myself use to work for the company as well. I watched it with my family, friends, as a teen went on dates to epcot to see it and when I got off from work!!It was amazing and yes I use to cry at the end!! The number one best firework or all time, Fantasmic was second. Beautiful memories that will be missed!! I was fortunate enough to see Illuminations the month before it was cancelled with my childhood friend. I hope they bring it back for a little while in the future so my kids get to enjoy it one day.

I just watched this again. Always get emotional. This show really represents for me our visits to Walt Disney World when our children were little. I cried throughout!! This show is a powerful reminder that we are all interconnected as one global family and that we are truly better together. Cliff, first off, outstanding work!! You have captured the best versions of this show!! IllumiNations is my all-time favorite show EVER!!! The pre-show music was played at our wedding during dinner, and Promise was our last dance song! Like yourself my wife and I and now our children have seen the show more times than I can remember. Is there any way at all I could get you to get me a copy of one of your beautifully shot World-Showcase-Plaza-only views or front row as we call it? I'd be so grateful as I have tried for 18 years to capture the contrasting colors and quality from our favorite spot, but to no avail. You've done it perfectly!! Yeah, Harmonious sucks compared to this. I've avoided watching any videos of IllumiNations since it ended, so this is my first time listening/watching since then. What a nearly perfect show. Always thought that globe part went on a little too long with not much happening but other than that.. Some of the most beautiful music ever composed put to a fantastic show. Not to mention your production quality on this video! So well put together and loved all of the angles.

Hi Cliff, you did it!! A fitting final masterpiece tribute to the greatest ever Disney show and a culmination of your dedication and skill in preserving this never to be repeated wonder. I saw a backlot picture of the dismantled earth globe and it broke my heart. If harmonious is half as good as ROE illuminations then I will be pleasantly surprised, but I doubt it will be.
