Clifford's Tower in York | Managed by English Heritage

In today's video, Anne and I visit the glorious Clifford's Tower in York, one of Britain's most iconic medieval sites. The tower has been a royal mint, a medieval stronghold and a Civil War garrison. It is also the site of one of the worst antisemitic massacres of the Middle Ages. Managed by English Heritage, Clifford's Tower reopened in 2022 after a multi-million-pound renovation. #yorkshire #history
