The best version of ‘Bright Eyes’ ever ! It is so beautifully interpreted by Cliff and his musicians at this wonderful, Countdown Concert, December 1999. I was so lucky to have tickets to be there four nights; Cliff has been my favourite singer since those early days - 1958, and here in 2024 he is still the best. I was there at the NIA in Birmingham on the 13th of December 1999 as I recall. I travelled by train from Glasgow and stayed at Solihull. My favourite memory of the perfomance was the song Sci Fi when Cliff appeared from the rafters of the arena to the square stage. The Millenium Prayer was also another highlight of the show.
