It was an electric accordion. He had it for several years. He died in 1987. I'm not sure why you have 1973 here.

@@RobertWilley6 yes, that was in August of 1987. He was on dyalisis, so he was very weak and got the electric accordion. I thought it sounded great. On my channel, I have several of his songs. That segment you have comes from a zydeco documentary. It might still be on KZbin. If I have it, I will add it to my channel. I've been a fan of Clifton Chenier for many years. He never stopped. He died December 12, 1987
