Fantastic interview, Rocha. Clifton Collins Jr. is such a gem.

Rocha being a latino too and his love of westerns made him the right choice to interview Clifton. The shared knowledge and connection were palpable throughout the interview. As a latino myself I thoroughly enjoyed this episode.
@jrhcreator6 жыл бұрын
@Phil Uribe "...the right choice", how's that? Because a white person has to have knowledge of westerns, has to be Latino in order to interview a Latino actor, has to have prior knowledge of an actor. Keep in mind part of an interview is not just for us the audience to listen, but the interviewer to research, prepare, and learn as well.
@PhilUribe6 жыл бұрын
To answer your question before addressing the mischaracterization of my comment, a white person doesn't have to have prior knowledge of either or be a latino to conduct a good or even great interview of a latino actor. My point is that the shared knowledge and background in this instance made this interview better than great. I feel they really connected and that's why I think Rocha was the right choice. Also, while I am a latino I'm also white dude, not all of us are brown and if we were who the hell would care?

Please continue to have Rocha interview Latino actors/actresses; as a fellow Hispanic/Latino it's endearing to hear the genuine adoration of a fellow brother/sister and the sincerity of how much they look up to them. Keep up the good work collider

First watch I was skeptical about Rocha interviewing Clifton on Kristians show, just watched it a second time and I really enjoyed it and am glad Rocha got to interview him. I was first introduced to Clifton in 187 and then Road Dogz. Liked him in Brothers too with Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire.

Great Interview Rocha! Amazing actor and seems like a nice interesting guy. I jumped over and watched the Gonzalez-Gonzalez Groucho Marx clip and it's great. He stole the show!

That was awesome! Glad they let Rocha do the interview! I wish someone would ask him if he got to meet Pac on either the Poetic Justice set or Menace 2 Society set (before Pac beat up the director). Never the less great interview. Had all the Latin Kings and 2-6s in my high school trying to be him after "One Eight Seven" haha!

This talented actor first came onto my radar in the 90s cult hit The stoned age, when I noticed him next was his flawless performance in Traffic, he deserves his hard earned success.

Damn he's one of my favorite actors of all time. Cesar was the only one who had your back at the end of GTA San Andres lol. From 187 with Samuel L. Jackson, Rules Of Attraction (Goddamn Motherfucking Motherfucker), Boondock Saints 2 with Norman Reedus to Westworld, I've been a fan of this dude all my life and he had my 2nd favorite interview in the old Schmoes Knows Toadhop days. Plus he was a Vegan Police lol. This dude is a legend.

Damn the first 1 on 1 with Kristian I'm interested in and Rocha is doing the interview, ok a little annoyed by that cuz he bugs me a lot and I feel like Collider has been shoving him down our throats the past few months. That being said, he did a great job with this interview
