I'm impressed with how his dog stayed in one spot for so long while in the woods... I'd be too busy yelling my dog's name to record anything of worth, haha.

Never realized that one part of this song became the first line in “Big Balls in Cowtown” made famous by Bob Wills, it was only slightly changed becoming “Working on the railroad, sleeping on the ground, eating saltine crackers for 10 cent a pound” then of course going into the main part of that song “Big balls in cowtown, we’ll all go down, big balls in cowtown, we’ll dance around”

Man, I've gotten so much enjoyment from your vids and pics I don't know how to thank you.... I've always loved the old guys like Clarence Ashley and Doc Boggs and you bring it all right up to now... I'm going to go order an Old Leatherstocking t-shirt right now!🎶✨🌿🍷😎 ✌🏻

Did Josh Hayes play this in overhand when you learned it from him? More so than anything I was just curious but watching you up pick this song is really making me want to play around with it. Great tutorial and video as always!

Hayes' overhand style sounds similar to my up-picking, so I've always up-stroked this song although he typically overhands.
