@CliftonHicksbanjo do you have a series on Frank proffitt or Roscoe specifically on your channel? Or old time mountain tuning? I'm definitely interested and willing to join!!!

I have done plenty of Holcomb and Proffitt covers, but I've not organized them into a playlist or "series." Same with Dock Boggs, George Gibson, and a few others.

When I was ten years old, 62 years ago there was an old man that lived in a shack in the woods , he played a banjo . You remind me of him, THANKS

I remember when the doctor always had thermometers in alcohol and you’d taste it. Then I remember an old guy in a dollar store buying an arm full of rubbing alcohol. I recon he wasn’t trying to sterilize anything but his insides. This song would fit this old fellas day back then. I wish I would have talked to him and learned his story. We all have one. And we’ve all had the blues at one time or another. Kind Thanks Ctlifton! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania

My pap born 1906 used to send me into the drug store when I was a kid to get wintergreen rubbing alcohol for his dibilitating arthritic knees. He swore by the stuff and the relief it provided. He was a true old timer, a good hardworking bricklaying man all his working life.
