My favorite banjo yet, both looks and sound. I am sure you have a waiting list, but I would be interested in one just like this.

Thanks. If you send me a private message with your email address that will work. The list is not prohibitively long.

I'm sure you could put together a good one. These "mountain" banjos are fairly basic--just don't forget that back-angle on the neck!

I will be 58 in about 2 weeks and the first time I ever remember hearing old time clawhammer banjo was as a little fellow listening to Stringbean and Grandpa Jones on Hee Haw and I've loved it ever since. ❤😊👍

It sounds great with you playing it....I had one and sold it ten years ago and got a regular open back. I miss it but I had to sell to fund the next one. What did you use for the tone ring support? It is loud for fretless mtn banjo...

In that barn there used to be a mountain of junk and scrap metal, tin cans etc. I don't remember what I used exactly--just an old paint can or something.

Did you work on building that hoppy tight rythm, or is that just intrinsic to your style? Its great
@CliftonHicksbanjo7 жыл бұрын
That's an old dance rhythm/stage performance technique that does take some work.
