I can't help but feel that Jean-Michel Cousteau is one of the few voices of reason in a world gone mad. We love our toys and treats too much to dispense with them, expecting others more noble than ourselves to make the necessary sacrifices.

Jean-Michel, in Norfolk, VA, in 1982, as a young man of 30 years, I helped prepare the Calypso for the Amazon expedition. Now, my only son, born in 2002, will study meteorology/climatology next year at University. We are both working for governmental action on climate change.
