I have watched a lot of disaster documentaries. Something I have noticed is that Australia is one of the first to respond to help other countries. Not just for fires. for any disaster. New Zealand have a healthy rivalry, but my respect for them has sky rocketed.

Mount St. Helen. I was planting trees in British Columbia when that went off. We actually heard it from over 300 miles away.

It’s funny, they had every reason for the fires in CA except a fly-over meteor. A meteor doesn’t have to make an impact, but it will have insanely strong winds, extreme heat hot enough to melt metals! It also has gases, that can very much turn volatile with the right conditions, water can make some gases as explosive as 10 times its normal. That fire happened in Oct. during one of the peak meteor showers, Orionids. The meteor stream of Haley’s comet.

Just had the largest fire in Texas history burning 10 miles from my house this year. Smoke filled the whole town and made it hard to breathe at points. Thankfully the wind was blowing it east instead of south. In the right conditions fires move fast and are very deadly.

BEING BORN INTO SUCH A POOR FAMILY AND NOT KNOWING HOW TO CHANGE MY SITUATION MEANT THAT I COULDN'T GO OVERSEAS WITH MY CHILDREN TO HELP AID THE PEOPLE WHO NEEDED IT AFTER HORRIBLE DISASTERS. NOW I'M LIMITED TO A WHEELCHAIR WHEN I GO ANY DISTANCE AND I'M USELESS WHEN THE FIRES HIT ALBERTA AND BC I WATCH ON IN HORROR AS EVERY DAY THOSE FLAMES LAPPED UP HUGE GULPS OF MY COUNTRY AND ITS PEOPLE! I'M GOING TO PLACE MY HOPES AND PRAYERS FOR THIS YEAR THAT 10,000 PEOPLE FOR EVERY 1 WHO CAN'T GO OUT TO HELP BATTLE FIRES AND ALL THOSE DISASTERS THAT KILL AND RUIN.. IF WE ARE ABLE THEN WE SHOULD! ❤

Why are properties not built with systems that hold the liquid dumped on fires from above similar to sprinkler systems but created in grids?

Many of the people who died didn't evacuate because they thought they could defend their property or left too late and got lost in the smoke or collided with other cars

There was no sprinkler system in the building? Wtf how is that even legal.

Always, ALWAYS make sure you know where ALL the exits are, if they actually work and how to get to them. ALWAYS because your life may depend on that knowledge. RIP to all who have perished.

We couldn’t be segregated in death so they treated each corpse with equal and utmost respect and care, in one place together. Why not try this in life?

The scene transition graphic's sound becomes increasingly annoying detracting from the content! And no one in post production noticed the frequency of its use???

I mean, that’s your opinion but I get what you’re talking about. These docs are constantly pumped out so they probably don’t care to change the format too much.

The narrator sounds like he's been drinking or recently undergone major dental/ENT work. Very grating. Most of the information is from other shows just clipped into this one

Advert for betting services betfair etc every 4 minutes! At that rate it would take days to watch this video! Not sure if the channel is aware of wether its a KZbin issue! Thumbs down for me!

It's KZbin. I'm probably not very smart for doing this, but I pay for KZbin music and it cuts out ads for regular KZbin as well. But as soon as I find a better app that doesn't censor or have a shitty algorithm or have it packed full of ads, I'll dump yt and buy that instead. I forgot about the ads.
