If you replace Amitabh, Sridevi and the background score then the scene is utterly ridiculous... But I have never seen ever, in any movie, in the midst of such silliness in a scene, a more heartwrenching story delivered with extreme sincerity and mastery and honesty and aura as Amitabh and Sridevi-- they must have believed in the characters they were playing, and that's where the heart comes in!! Pure emotion ❤️
