so the grigri seems to be better than click up in that it can in some situations catch the fall even without using the lower hand

Click up is supposed to do the trick too, right?

@@4-SeasonNature no, or only very unreliably. I have it and you can get the click up to lock by holding the break side of the rope with only two fingers, but when you don't hold it at all, there is a high chance it won't lock.

Hay una posición en la que el click up no bloquea, cuando el mosquetón se queda de forma transversal encajado en el dispositivo, es dificil pero puede ocurrir. ¿Por qué en ningún sitio explican eso?

como así transversal? inclinado?
