I was actually so impressed by Stewart's climb on Trapeze. He did great for a first time climber.

Gotta love the ol quad oval biner brake!! 26:45 is that a homemade harness or just a bodged DIY swami repair!? These dudes were hard as. No cams. Just hexes, nuts, and homemade gear. I feel so rich now with my triple rack of cams 😂 This was so good to watch!! ❤

I chased this film up for years and finally bought the copy from the abc archives in Sydney in 1994. Did many a movie show at Araps on the side of the bus up at watchtower car park - my OE then had the luxury of me taking them up in Castle Crag to do trapeze at Dusk and then rap off in the dark after a meal on top of the world. ❤😂🎉

From the days when camming devices were rare and the best climbing boots were EBs, nuts wedges and hexentrics, that climb broke my leg

Ah the 70s...when the word shorts was both a noun and an adjective.
