My first time out in Red Rocks Canyon, this place is a rock climber's paradise and just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. We climbed a 665 foot 5.7 route called Olive Oil via Pine Creek Canyon.

Good job with the climb, filming and editing. It's so difficult editing climbing footage because your head is constantly moving around looking for the next foot and hand hold.

A (found) BD C4 Camalot #5... it looks like? Aww that's a sad loss for the person. I've been there though (and I hope mine wasn't damaged when/if the next person found it and started using it. It was a C4 #2). Loved your video! Definitely subscribing to help me plan my 3rd RR trip. Cheers

I'm wondering if there might be a "more moderate- feeling" rappel option for the down-scramble at minute 9:30? And thanks again for taking the time!

It's really not necessary. There isn't one that I am aware of but I think most people that could climb this route wouldn't need a rap option. My 9 and 11 year old climbed this with my wife and I, earlier this year, and they made it with no trouble.

You can set up an anchor up above to lower people off. Either way, someone is going to have to downclimb. Its steep and high consequence, but not terrible.
