Interesting. Looks like they really enjoyed climbing the rock back then

There were no invented "cultural sensitivity" issues then and according to the 1983 agreement Bob Hawke signed with the Aboriginal Community climbing access was to be maintained from that date for 99 years. But what's a legal agreement worth these days?
I have just climbed it myself. It is a disgrace that it's being shut down. It has nothing to do with Aboriginal sensitivity either, they have no problem with it. Greens infiltrators into the parks service just don't want any of our natural wonders to be accessible. The reason claimed here is danger even though there are plenty of warning signs and no compelling evidence of unusual risk compared to any other physically strenuous activities.

Cannot believe he drinks from those water puddles at the top. When i was there those where filled with gross little animals. And it’s standing water in the roasting sun.. one big bacteria bomb.

All these men are now dead. That’s the power of the rock. Climb it at your peril 😨

I'm sure they would have lived forever if only they hadn't climbed the Rock! SMH
