Holy crap! That's pretty much exactly how I do it! to center it I use a nut or o-ring inside of the tire too... 😎

Hey Cranky, how is the best way to weather, and fade whitewall tires after I sand the tread down? These tires have the plastic whitewall inserts that fit into the face of the tires. Thanks for all the great help, Greg
