Thankyou very much..i was confused between bolus and intermittent!! Thankyou
@clinicalnutritionuniversity3 жыл бұрын
In my experience, there are a lot of people who say “bolus” when they are actually talking about intermittent feeds. So it can be confusing! Happy you found the video helpful. Please let me know if there are any other topics you feel you need assistance with! - Mitch

hi CNU, nice video! I am now learning EN, do u have any references recommended on what condition we choose bolus/cyclic/intermittent/continuous? I am eager to read more on how to choose the feeding method and is there any link between GCS and our choice for feeding method but I can't really find reliable reference

Thank you for all your videos 😊what about a video covering volume based feeds?
@clinicalnutritionuniversity Жыл бұрын
Hey Melissa! Thank you so much. That’s a topic that absolutely interests me. I just started working on a different topic today, but I’ll add volume based feeding to my to-do for upcoming videos.

thank you so much for the video. what's the difference btw the open and closed feeding system?
@clinicalnutritionuniversity2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! This is a good question, and something I should make a video on. A closed system is what you have when you use a bottle of formula that connects directly to the feeding tube. An open system is when you pour the formula (usually from several smaller containers) into a bag, and then the bag connects to the feeding. The advantages of closed system = less work to get it started and lower risk of contamination.
