Revenge of the Creature was Eastwood’s actual film debut. The film came out May 13, 1955 following a March 23rd premiere in Denver. Tarantula came out December 23, 1955 following a November 23rd premiere in Los Angeles.

Re: P80 later redesignated as F80 Shooting Star: Our first USA operational jet fighter that first flew in 1945. These Air Force planes were obsolete when thIs 1955 movie was made. But the planes change from Shooting Stars to either F94s (a later version of the Shooting Star), or to F89 Scorpions, From the scene angles, I can't tell for sure.
