Heres a RR story--one time Tony Orlando was guest hosting for Johnny Carson, and RR was a guest. Orlando says Roy, be honest now--in real life are you really anything like your characters in the movies? After a pause Roy said I think I am pretty close to my movie characters in real life. Orlando ran around the desk and hugged RR--he looked like he was a little choked up!

I always loved Roy Rogers. My mother told when I was about a year old, Roy was appearing at the California State Fair. My mother and her best friend decided they wanted to see Roy so they took me, too. Roy spotted my mom holding me in the crowd and asked if he could hold me. Mom said he walked around talking to people, all the time carrying me. He sat with me on Trigger and was really tickled how excited I was sqealing and laughing.

Good heavens, Roy was about 85 here and you'd never know it! Lots of fun and they're both great. I'll give Roy great credit in that the film clips used featured other cowboy stars, like Gene Autry, rather than Roy himself. The man was always a class act.

Dale Midkiff as her boyfriend/husband. Clint you were singing in the background...loved it. Clint you could pass as a Roy Rogers relative. Toby Keith RIP

I loved Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Watched their show every Saturday. I'm not crazy about country music but I really liked this. I can't believe how good Roy's voice is at his age. And, for two people who aren't related in any way to look so much alike is amazing.

They could be father and son or son and grandfather, they both have those "ROY ROGER"" eyes...just so very handsome and kind. Loved Roy all my life. At 70 I still miss him. He was my first cowboy "crush" and the same with Clint. Just unreplaceable. Love them both. From Debbie and Dexter-Dog her rescued chihuahua in S. California.🙋❤🐾😁👍

RR story--Roy was a guest on a variety show and Randy Travis was too, Randy had some big hits, Roy had been retired for years. Randy did a popular song in his style, then Roy did a verse in his style and then they did the third verse together. Everybody in the place was knocked out by the beauty and clarity of Roy;s voice!

Sorry but you can't sit there and say both are great singers when there is only one great and one singer in this video. Roy rogers is not great and he sucks too bad to be a singer. Clint is the great one and he is the singer in this one. So only one great singer is shown in this video

It's probably a real video. I met Clint Black at Roy Rogers office in his museum in Victorville in the early 90's. I was a Sheriff's Deputy and was following up with Roy on a theft from the museum. Black told me that RR was one of his real life heroes, and he just stopped by for a visit because he was in So Cal on business...
