I'm learning so much. It's crazy how reggae was the preferred music back in the 80s in NY. Dis man is a trend setter!😳 When I reach NY dancehall was the bread and butter. The story in regards to him meeting lickle John and seeing how hungry he looked and he had 3 big hits abroad at the time.

@hamil73brenda15 Lil John did not have three records on the American chart. Dancehall music was strictly an underground music in NYC at that time and supported mostly by the Caribbean community. Clinton Lindsay was referring to the local reggae music chart developed among the Caribbean record shops in the NYC community.
