Clio 197 Meglio Pre trackday service

The Meglio needed a little love before a couple of trackdays. Oil and filter, gearbox oil and brake pins.

How hard is it to maintain? Is it easy to replace timing belt or a huge headache? .. im thinking bout doing this swap on a clio 3 gt but idk

Timing belt is a bit of a pig and hard to get at in places but apparently easier than it is in a Megane. Personally I just had the cambelt done when I had the engine out of the car.

Hi general Clio 197 is about 1240 kilos. How many megclio is?

Hi, the only difference in weight though be the turbo itself along with boost pipes, intercooler and a bit of pipework. Maybe 20-30kg more. It’s hard to say as my car is stripped with a cage and lighter seats.

Put some oil into your oil filter before you fit it you wolly 🙄

Never have on horizontally mounted filters. Never had an issue in the 40+ oil changes I’ve done (over the last 15 year) so far buddy.

Where did you buy the caliper pins from mate ?

@@MrJHoop I got mine from Jaded developments but a few use another company who’s name I can’t remember. Mr pins or Pink Pins, something like that.
