Fastest lap from the day and one of the only traffic free, becoming one of my favourite tracks, lots wrong with this so can't wait to get back.

Your car always seems planted. Other than the AST5100 and AR1s do you have any other mods? Poly bushes? Negative camber and have you fitted any shims to rear to change ‘toe’ settings ? Thanks… just bought one so learning from others more experienced… thanks!

Maybe due to 5% technique 😉 But on the setup it’s been lots of trial and error however the short answer is x85 cup racer base setup. Currently got as much camber as I can get on the front with the top mounts slightly slotted giving me about 3’10 and 2’5 from memory on the rear (pure motorsport shims) Along with the geo I have found spring rates to be super important but depends on the suspension. With the AST’s I run 80Nm on the front and 100Nm on the rear which is perfect for me (most would find it too aggressive for average track car) Quite a few use Gaz Golds but with an inverse on the spring rates (no idea why it works) Lots of info on the clio197.net forum.

what exhaust system you running mate? ive always had noise issues at snett

Standard manifold with full akrapovic system, never had any problems, normally around 80db on static.

@@haydenoliver9542 Late last year it was about a weeks lead time for memory, I have the tarmac race spec, it’s very noisy on the road but amazing on the track
