No matter how much commercial acclaim West African artists have in their careers they always seem to be consistent in producing music of traditional West African idioms based on songs of nobility and class ...many West African musical artists belong to the griot class..,...this being said even with respect to more modern musical styles being a good part in their creation of ' a sound ' singers like Coumba Gawlo deliver the best representation of a traditional West African musical sound....salute to Coumba from Mr. C in Baltimore Maryland.....we love you Coumba... .the invested in culture brothers and sistas of the American diaspora....... especially we southern folk who with good understanding do more than admire our ancestors and their whole traditions.....love you Hadja and thank you for your cultural craft ❤❤❤❤
