Jaydon gave up his first choice because he don’t want to compete with haoming with the center. He also failed to be the center initially in tou tou. But Lisa saw his potential to he became the center last minute to save the team. He is a great vocal and his dance is better than most vocals in my opinion. Meaning, he is a great option for the final main vocal. (I love ziwei but he really need to improve a lot on dancing.) He is currently ranked 44. And I think he really deserve another chance for the next round!!!!

I think he made the right decision cos he became the centre and gained so much more attention which may garner more fans and votes, he could’ve been badly overshadowed in a much more popular group and even if they win the votes aren’t that much compared to if he gained fans who will start voting regularly for him

He had a reason for choosing the other teams, especially Haoming’s team because he wanted Haoming to be the centre (cos he knows he worked hard for it and his brother wasn’t satisfied with his current rank). He himself thought he would be eliminated in the first round but then he made it. He becomes determined after that as he think he would be definitely be eliminated in the next round, so he chose the team in hope he could be the centre. I know there are some bad rumours about him recently, but these are just rumours, and his company also refuted straight away, so I hope people won’t stop supporting him because of those until there are evidence. (there was also this one when someone said he did really bad in the Tou Tou performance, but he actually carried the team’s vocal, so that rumour was totally false). He’s a very capable person so please vote for him if you have spare votes.🙌🏻

I think Jaydon made the right decision, not because I think his performance on stage as center will be better than not being center in a popular group, but because of the show effects. Jaydon got a lot more screen time when he made this unusual decision because the show producers know the audience wanted to know why he chose Tou Tou. He got more exposure by talking about his desires and troubles to Haoming, and had an episode that recorded his group's center selection and reassignment, his temporary lack of self-confidence of not making it to the next round, basically dedicated to him. When Jaydon failed to get into the next round, the audience pitied him because he was portrayed as ambitious with great ability, from what we see in his added screen time. If he joined Haoming's group or any popular group, the producers won't find that interesting so they probably won't give that much exposure to Jaydon. It might be worse if he joined the popular group, because he might get overshadowed during the performance (not because of his ability tho) AND not get as much discussion about him as he does now. That might cause him not only to fail to get into the next round, but also fail to get remembered by the audience as much as now. So, I think he made the right decision afterall.
