Just amazing, I am so impressed and proud of my brother Jukka Iisakkila. The concert with Jukka, Steve Vai and Tampere Filharmonia was an exeptional experience, as I did not know the music of Steve Vai before. I really enjoyed the concert and the music, the great atmosphere among the musicians. Thank you!

I didn't even know Expanding The Universe existed until five-ish months ago. I was originally looking for a recording of The Middle Of Everywhere which I couldn't find anywhere (hehe). But I stumbled across _one_ recording of ETU that someone put on KZbin from when it was first recorded live (a long time ago!) and it baffled me. Mostly because almost nobody throughout the entire internet talked about its existence. I loved that composition and included a short analysis of it in my final paper at the conservatory. (Said paper tackled the topic of the use of electric guitar in contemporary music and Steve Vai was a name that appeared alongside Steve Reich, Fausto Romitelli, Michael Kamen, Yngwie Malmsteen and more.) Needless to say, I'm very happy that ETU is now getting a proper recording and (hopefully!) an official release. I love this side of Steve & as a guitar player myself and a continuing student of composition who plans to write chamber music with the electric guitar, it's deeply inspiring. Thank you for consistently sharing your inner world with us, Steve!

I can hear so much of Mr Zappa in this; and that is quite understandable, and definitely not a bad thing, by any conceivable measure. Simply wonderful!

. SALUDOS DESDE CÁDIZ, iS pain.
