MY GOD. I knew I had seen this tutorial before but for the life of me I couldn't remember where for some reason. and having recently gotten back into art I've had multiple times where I have wanted to use this technique knowing it was possible but just not remembering how to do it. THANK GOD I FOUND THIS VIDEO AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH. I can't wait to try this on my next piece my God I'm saving this one in a playlist. it was like forgetting the words to a song but knowing the tune, complete agnoy I can rest easy now thank you bless your art and your skills.

I’ll try that with my next drawing, I don’t know how I never thought about this 😭 Thank you so much. I also have a trick for you since I’ve just tried it : instead of filling it with transparency, you can go to edit menu -> convert brightness to opacity and it works with textured brushes too !

I do the at too instead of filling each spot

I think you'll have a faster result if you go Edit > Convert Brightness to Opacity (don't use colors if you go that route, everything that was white becomes transparent, the black lines stay the same)

Holy this is great! I have the old manga studio program and didn't know this was a thing. I've been doing outlines for years in janky long winded ways. Now I can make real brushes and detail work without killing my time. Thank you!

I would love to see more of how you do the hair with border effect it seems like it has a lot of potential there ;?
@BabanIllustration2 жыл бұрын
it really helps for hair that's mucha-styled, do you mean something like that?

On the removing the white inside the lines, you can use the technique I went over in this tutorial! kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZ2pf4aFfbmnlaM I made this video before that one, it's been up on the patreon since around October.

Hm my CSP doesn't have a lasso fill tool. And there are a couple different ones in the CSP asset store, which one do you use?
