The detachable blade 1 and the guard 1 are two totally different things. The correct comparison would be the 1a detachable blade with the 1 guard.

MC when you "create the square shape foundation with 1 1/2" should/can I use the # 1 1/2 white Wahl comb, or purple #2? I don't have a detachable clipper. Thanks!

MC Barber, I am just starting and would like to know which brand/clipper you would recommend? Oster is very difficult to get here in europe, Andis a bit easier but mostly wahl. I have the wahl taper but I find it very heavy on the wrist. Thanks! Roxanne

For the heavy duty clippers you use the Oster Octane, but have you ever tried the Andis Supra ZR? Which would you recommend?

Emiliano Morado. ceramic blades are better than stainless steal the ceramic cuts better and stays cooler doesn't get hot.
