Bro oh my God I honestly can't tell you how much your visual aids help I'm an apprentice in the UK so our training is really just dependant on what shop your in I have aphantasia so I can create visual images in my head, I can conceptualize but can't imagine. And right now my biggest hurdle is my clipper over comb and shese over comb As I'm cutting I try to "imagine" the hairs on a hair by hair basis (kinda like how you use the green things) But because of the aphantasia I can't focus on "imagining" too many things. Watching this video was the click I needed. Thank you bro ❤

Very good clipper over comb video! Id love to be able to cut #2 and #3 lengths with only CoverC. Its so fast to slam on a detachable, but theres something so pure about clipper and comb.

This is a phenomenal video! I went to cosmetology school but do alot of mens cuts, in my new hair studio, in Petersburg Alaska. Im only doing haircuts becuase there is not a salon in town that men can walk in and get a haircut within a week. I have also self tought, myself to do skin fades. You have definitely helped me with my new skill set in doing so. You have amazing techniques and technical skills that truly futhers others craft in cutting hair. And it is greatly appreciated. Eddie quick question - Do you always use a mohawk/ apex vertical profile to create your guide for cutting the top of the head? I've seen some start at the back near the Crown and use a horizontal guide then just keep sectioning that to the front and the rest of the head. At the moment I'm always trying to use a mohawk guideline but sometimes when the hairs a little short it can be difficult to separate out the middle section. Hope that makes sense. As always thanks for all your help and content.

Nice. I tell my barbers to practice with a one guard closed to practice clipper over comb so they have more leeway to mistakenly cut to much at once. Also I feel like a 5 zero or a closed adjustable clipper leaves to sharp of a finish which is not always what you want. Adjustable open leaves a nice soft blended finish.

Hello Eddie! I first want to thank you for teaching and sharing your gift and passion. I have been a subscriber for 2years. You have taught me so much. Now, I have no experience at all but after watching how to debulk, skin line, clipper over comb, fading system, and shear over comb I’ve been successful! I practiced on myself first many times then have been able to transfer these steps with skill to give my two boys (5&7) decent haircuts consistently. Thank you very much for teaching. You have truly taught me a life skill to share with my boys when they get older. Although this is not my profession I find myself to be passionate about barbering. I have just one question, how do I handle cowlicks? I know I can go shorter or leave section longer. But I’m very curious how you would approach or handle cowlicks with hair being longer on top of a kids cut? Maybe answer with a video?
