I have been cutting for over 25 years. I’ve used Wahl, Oster, Babyliss, Stylecraft/Gamma(Scamma). My last set were Stylecraft Rebels that only last 10 months before the motor burnt up. I decided to give the TPOB Play’s a try. Oh. My. God. They are the most ergonomic, quietest, smooth cutting clippers I have ever used. For anyone who is starting out in barbering or anyone who has been cutting for years, I cannot recommend the TPOB Play enough. Hope this helps someone.

@@justcryHavok The TROLL has a smooth fade experience but doesn’t open up AS wide. as the slimes. But I do like the feel of the TROLL better as it feels higher quality build. I think the SLIME would only be considered beginner because of the price and build quality. But the way it performs man it does a great job

The problem isn't that they are drop shipped clippers, almost anything outside of wahl, andis and oster is. The problem is they are drop shipped with 0 support from tpob. Clippers broken tough titty it was only $80 by another. Too many complaints of broken old models? Here's a new model. Nevermind fixing what people spent there money on. Anyone complains he bashes them online. Anyone doesn't want to promote his products he calls them a sell out. Why trust someone who wants to run a million dollar business without showing their face.

I think it's a little sneaky to make a video featuring a product you are sponsored with, comparing it to another product without loudly announcing the sponsorship. If you really cared about your viewer's wallet and not your own, you'd do a video on an even cheaper, but higher quality product than TPOB's Slime 2- the VMR V-003, which is the same as the JRL either Onyx or 2020c, which are both better products than anything TPOB has to offer. ALSO, to anyone who's read this comment this far, go check out videos from the TPOB owner where he's badmouthing barbers that don't want to work with him and other brand competitors behind a gangster bandana mask before you give money to the guy.

Obviously you can make a video about whatever you want, there's nothing illegal about what you did, but I'm talking about having integrity and being upfront with your audience. Your statements about TPOB were so glowingly positive, it sounded as though you had some sort of stake in the company. Of course that's when I see the discount code in the description. You don't have to change anything about your approach to content and business/sales, but it is just much more transparent and honest when you share the relationship between your content and business. Edit to add- if you mentioned the sponsorship in the video, that even gives you an opportunity to share the discount code as part of the content. That makes your position more clear and upfront, and also gets more exposure for your discount code to your audience. It's a win win in my eyes.
